| 3:00 am | Anne & Miniver - late night tea party Anne had, indeed, put the kettle on, and had gotten down the tea box, she had a lot to choose from, she apparently collected tea the same way most people collect expired coupons next to the fridge. The brioche were basically right out of the oven, since there was still a tray of them in there finishing up, she had the Doors on the CD player, turned down low, she was wearing an apron with a jolly roger on it, and was working on getting the mixing bowls and utensils washed while the last batch baked, she'd left the kitchen door open, screen unlocked, but closed to keep out the mosquitoes. |

| 10:16 am | Anne had discovered that she had a rather nice screened in veranda-slash-deck type thing, and what she hadn't been able to get at the market down the street by way of fruit and pastry trays, she'd made herself, bacon, eggs, seasoned potatoes, she'd had years and years to learn this sort of thing, and she was fairly good at it. In any case, it was set and ready by about twelve thirty, and Anne was relaxing in a deckchair with a glass of ginger lemonade, just waiting for company to arrive. |
